We, SC COBOR ACCOMMODATION SRL (hereinafter referred to as Gospodăria Cobor), headquartered in Cobor village, Ticușu commune, no. 199, Brașov County, registered with the Trade Registry Office under no. J8/254/22.01.2019, fiscal code: 40468281, have taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and integrity of your personal data.

Personal data processing is carried out in accordance with legal provisions on personal data protection, including the EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as GDPR).

Please note that our services are exclusively for individuals who are 18 years old or older, and we do not process data of minors.

What personal data do we collect

If you choose to use our website or benefit from our services, we may collect the following personal information about you:

  • Name, surname, contact details: when you contact us to respond to your requests or inquiries
  • Name, surname, contact details, home address, ID, nationality, date of birth, arrival and departure dates: for providing accommodation services
  • Card or bank account details
  • Image: captured by surveillance cameras
  • Any other data you choose to provide us in relation to our services (e.g., allergies)
  • Email: if we correspond by email and/or you sign up for our newsletter

The information we collect is necessary to provide you with accommodation services or to respond to your requests. If you refuse to provide it, you may not be able to fully benefit from our services.

How do we collect personal data?

We collect information about you in three ways:

  1. a) Directly – when you contact us; when you complete feedback questionnaires; when you fill out the accommodation form
  2. b) Indirectly – for example, when data from the booking platform is provided to make reservations and/or to generate the accommodation card, to which we will have access

  4. d) From third parties – we may also obtain information about you from third parties, such as when another person makes a reservation on your behalf, in the case of group bookings, or when a voucher is issued/transferred.

For what purpose do we use your personal data

When you interact with us, we collect personal data and use it for the following purposes:

  • Processing reservations
  • Preparing the accommodation form
  • Processing payments made by you
  • Providing customer service
  • Issuing and using vouchers
  • Fulfilling legal obligations or complying with public authority requirements

Duration of personal data processing

Your data will be stored only for the period necessary to provide services, address your requests, or resolve any disputes.

If the data you have provided is based solely on your consent, we will process the data until that consent is withdrawn.

Additionally, certain data will be stored for the period required by law, for example:

  • Data contained in accounting documents will be archived, according to the law, for a period of 10 years
  • Data provided through the accommodation card will be archived and stored for a period of 5 years
  • Images captured by surveillance cameras will be stored for a maximum of 30 days

At the end of the storage period, the data will be destroyed or anonymized, depending on the storage format.

To whom do we transfer your data

We guarantee that your data will not be transferred, sold, or rented to individuals or legal entities without your consent. However, we may disclose your data to third parties to ensure you benefit from our services, such as service providers who operate our website or online payment system, marketing agencies, public authorities, or institutions.

What are your rights

According to applicable legal provisions, you have the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure of data, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to automated decision-making.

Processing data of other persons

If you choose to provide us with the personal data of other persons, such as when you book a room on their behalf or when you wish to transfer a voucher, you assume responsibility for how you legally obtained these data and have a legal basis for processing their personal data, in accordance with GDPR. We are not responsible for violating those persons’ rights.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or delete portions of this Privacy Policy in the future to ensure that the information contained provides relevant and adequate details regarding the collection and processing of personal data.
